Belard IGIRAMAHORO is a legal researcher, advocate for practical legal education, and the founding force behind the Moot Court Forum. He holds an LL.B (Hons) from Kigali Independent University and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD), Rwanda, and currently serves as an Intern at Liedekerke Great Lakes, Kigali Office.

Aaron Nova is a legal researcher and advocate for practical legal education, and co-founder of the Moot Court Forum. He served as a Legal Officer at Tantum Law Chambers and Advocates before leading legal research and capacity-building initiatives at FineHouse Research and Training Center.

Belard IGIRAMAHORO

Founder, Moot Court Forum (MCF)

Belard IGIRAMAHORO is a legal researcher, advocate for practical legal education, and the founding force behind the Moot Court Forum. He holds an LL.B (Hons) from Kigali Independent University and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD), Rwanda, and currently serves as an Intern at Liedekerke Great Lakes, Kigali Office.

Belard has distinguished himself in legal advocacy and moot court practice notably as a member of the Kigali Independent University team that placed First Runner-Up in the 2024 ICRC National Moot Court Competition on International Humanitarian and Refugee Law, and later as coach of the team that secured First Runner-Up in the 2025 edition on International Humanitarian Law and New Technologies.

UWASE Vickie RUZINDANA

Executive Secretary

She is a law student at the University of Kigali and the Executive Secretary of the Moot Court Forum. Her passion for law was cultivated through active participation in debate and public speaking during high school, experiences that laid the foundation for her interest in advocacy, legal reasoning, and justice.

Her academic journey has included pursuing an LL.B. at Strathmore University before continuing her legal studies at the University of Kigali. Along the way, she has gained practical legal exposure through internships at Certa Foundation and the Kilifi Law Courts in Kenya, where she developed skills in legal research, case analysis, court procedures, and professional ethics.

Beyond the legal profession, Vickie has built valuable experience in communications, event management, and project coordination. She served as an Event Associate before advancing to Project Manager at Clarity Communications, where she strengthened her leadership, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and organizational skills through the successful coordination of high-level conferences and projects.

Committed to excellence in advocacy and lifelong learning, Vickie believes that effective legal practice requires not only a sound understanding of the law but also strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills. She is dedicated to advancing practical legal education and fostering a vibrant culture of advocacy through the Moot Court Forum.

Communication Advisor

Kenny Habuwiwe is a tech-forward communications and marketing professional with three years of experience spanning digital campaigns, public relations, and event coordination. He holds a BA in Communication from Southern New Hampshire University through Kepler and currently serves as the Communication Advisor for the Moot Court Forum.

Kenny is an accomplished orator and writer, having won first place in both the public speaking finals and the essay writing competition of the Kepler College Literacy Challenge in 2023. He was also a member of the champion Kepler debate team that won the prestigious Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) National Students' Debate on Taxation the same year.

Kenny holds a Digital Marketing Certificate of Excellence from Paragon One and is a certified Trainer of Trainers in Values-Driven Leadership. In his advisory capacity, he leverages his blend of strategic storytelling, digital expertise, and technical skills to shape the Moot Court Forum’s brand. His pragmatic, human-first approach helps amplify the Forum’s visibility as it works to develop the next generation of competent and practice-ready legal professionals in Rwanda.

He is a results-driven professional with a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies and an MBA, bringing over five years of experience in finance and project management. Skilled in financial management, project coordination, and driving operational efficiency. Passionate about delivering sustainable solutions and contributing to organizational growth through strategic planning and effective execution.
